Chemical passivation technology

Zerust^® Corrosion Inhibitors contain proprietary chemical formulations that release an invisible, odorless and non-toxic inhibiting vapor into the air and settle on all exposed metal surfaces in an enclosure. Thereby, passivating the metal surfaces and retard corrosion process. Zerust^® Products is FDA cleared and it leaves no residue on metal parts, as such the parts are clean and ready for use upon receiving.

This technology is generally known in the industry as volatile or vapor corrosion inhibiting technology (“VCI” or “VpCI”). However, Zerust^® / Excor^® chemical passivation technology is only active on-demand (making our technology last longer) and is made primarily of approved food preservatives (completely non-toxic and safe).
